Facultative Group Personal Accident Insurance at the Expense of the Enterprise (Employer)

Everybody is aware of bad impact of material, bodily and moral damages on the quality of our life.

We know that accident victims always need help of their enterprise (employer) and their refusal to assist is unpleasant both, for  employees and employers.

We know that protection provided by governmental institutions is small and does not cover fully financial losses associated with accidents at work while events with difficult consequences that occur after working hours are completely excluded from the cover provided by the Government.

It is also well-known that only the enterprise director (employer) may influence the fate of employees and protect their life and health by making a contract of facultative group accident insurance at the expense of the enterprise (employer).
Upon necessity and due to specificity of the production process ASITO covers the following risks:

  • Death as a result of an accident;
  • Temporary disability due to the accident;
  • Bodily injuries sequencing from the accident, including the accident at work.

In conformity with the selected option the customer may choose protection against the following auxiliary risks:

  • Daily benefit under in and out-patient conditions ;
  • Financial losses resulting from sudden death of an insured person (acute myocardial infarction, cerebral haemorrhage,  shock, embolism, acute pulmonary oedema, allergic reaction);
  • Financial losses (related to repatriation) due to sudden death of the insured person covered by foreign travel health insurance;

The insurance cover may last for:

  • 24 hours a day;
  • 8 or 12 working hours (group insurance contracts), except time on the way to and from work.

Facultative accident insurance may also cover motor vehicle drivers. Expenses for accident insurance during working hours are excluded from the enterprise income tax (Government decision no.484 as of 4 May 1998). Sums insured paid by Insureds or Beneficiaries (legal heirs-in-law) are not liable to tax (Law no. 1164 as of 24.04.1997 with subsequent modifications, art. 20(a)).
Big groups of insured employees may benefit from insurance premium discounts.
